The left-handed slugger earned All-America honors three times from 1997-99 while guiding the Panthers to two West Region titles and the NCAA Division III championship game twice (1998-99). She also became the only Chapman athlete to be selected twice to the All-America team and the Academic All-America team. Carew’s .501 career batting average still ranks fourth all-time in Division III history, while she also ranks No. 9 with 37 career home runs and No. 2 with a .957 slugging percentage – all Chapman records.
