Chapman Athletics Hall of Fame (est. 1979)
Scott Martino enters the Hall of Fame after a career that still remains etched in the Chapman record book. Despite playing as a defender for two years, Martino graduated third on Chapman's all-time scoring list with 36 goals and 24 assists and has not been surpassed in the 24 years since his final season. His 50 points in 1999, when he moved from defender to forward, remains the highest single season total in school history. He scored 17 goals that year with a school record 16 assists. He led Chapman to three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances from 1997-99. Off the field, Martino was also an excellent student and was twice named to the Academic All-District soccer teams.
