Chapman Athletics Hall of Fame (est. 1979)
Kimi Takaoka-Martineau finished her career as a Josten’s Trophy Finalist, labeling her as one of the top student-athletes in Division III women’s basketball in 2014. She is the only Panther to earn the distinction as a finalist for the prestigious Josten’s Trophy. Her accomplishments on the court included two All-SCIAC and All-Region awards as well as being named the SCIAC Player of the Year as a senior in 2013-14. She still ranks second in Chapman history with 1,539 career points and ranks among the top-10 in several scoring categories. Her successful career extended beyond the basketball court as she was also a two-time Academic All-American and three-time Academic All-District selection.
