Chapman Athletics Hall of Fame (est. 1979)
A four-year letter winner and team captain for the Panthers, Beardsley was a big reason for Chapman's unprecedented volleyball success in the late 80s. As a senior, Beardsley notched 274 kills in leading the Panthers to a school-record 27 victories and a national ranking as high as No. 3 in Division II. Beardsley was also a force in the classroom, earning GTE Academic All-America honors in 1989. She was named to the All-CCAA team three times in her career, including her junior year when she set career highs in kills (472) and digs (490) and helped not only to a national ranking on the court, but the Division II leader in team GPA.
