Chapman Athletics Hall of Fame (est. 1979)
Brad Breen made his mark at Chapman as a javelin thrower on the track & field team. He was the 1980 Division II national champion in the javelin and qualified for the 1979 NCAA Track & Field Championships. He holds the school record in the javelin with a throw of 73.89 meters, which is over 242 feet. Breen is one of just two national champions in Chapman's track & field history and joined former teammate and fellow national champion Joe Phillips in the Hall of Fame.
