Chapman Athletics Hall of Fame (est. 1979)
Bohannon became the first in a long line of Chapman tennis greats to be inducted in 1985, at the crest of the Panthers' national championships run. He captained a 1970 Chapman team that finished eighth in the country in the University Division national championship tournament - its first-ever tournament appearance. Bohannon lost in the semifinals of the College Division national championship singles event and went on to win his fourth consecutive Holiday Trophy as Chapman's top player (1967-70). He succeeded as the Panthers' head coach each of the next two seasons.
