Chapman Athletics Hall of Fame (est. 1979)
Seline became an integral piece of the Chapman’s tennis dynasty in the 80s immediately upon his arrival. In his freshman year, the Panthers won their second NCAA Division II national championship in three years and Seline was named to the All-America team along with doubles partner Paul Charlesworth. The following year, Chapman made it back-to-back NCAA championships and three in four years. David earned All-America honors three times in his career. In 1990 he earned the J.A. Stivers Award for Outstanding Athletic and Academic Achievement.
