Chapman Athletics Hall of Fame (est. 1979)
McBride earned All-America honors in 1981 as a shortstop for the Panthers' AIAW Regional qualifying softball team. She was at the heart of the Chapman lineup during the Panthers' regional championship runs in the late 70s-early 80s, including a third-place finish at the AIAW World Series in 1979. During her All-America season in '81 she batted .331 and led the team in stolen bases. A multi-sport athlete, McBride earned 10 letters in three different sports during her career.
