ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University men's soccer team extended its win streak to four and unbeaten streak to six with a 3-1 win over visiting Pomona-Pitzer. Senior Aidan Wall scored his 10th goal of the season in the win.

Wall opened the scoring just two minutes into the contest. Tobi Howe played Wall through a high back line. With the keeper near the top of the box, Wall sent an arcing shot into the net for a near immediate 1-0 lead.

The opening minutes of the half seemed to have some sort of magic as the Panthers struck in the first two minutes of the second half as well. Garrett Lindfelt tole away a ball in the midfield and sent a cross in from the end line. Dylan Paine was on the other end of the cross and knocked it in for a 2-0 lead.

The Panthers appeared to have a third goal later in the half on a scrum in front of the goal. However, an offside call negated the goal and kept the game at 2-0. The Sagehens took advantage when a corner kick wound up bouncing in the box and Nicholas Mikhail got just enough of the bouncing ball to send it across the line for a goal.

JD Vlcek answered back for Chapman less than five minutes later when he headed in a cross from Ryan Bridge to make it 3-1.

The Panthers outshot the Sagehens 13-10 in the match. Ethan Bae made five saves for the Sagehens and Chandler Siemonsma made three for Chapman.

Chapman swept the season series from Pomona-Pitzer with the win and remained in first place with just three matches remaining in the SCIAC season. Next up, Chapman travels to Caltech on Saturday before hosting a non-conference match with UC Santa Cruz on Sunday at 1 p.m.
