Pappan and Francis named to All-American Teams

ORANGE, Calif.— Kendall Pappan and Zoey Francis from the Chapman University Water Polo team have been named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-American Team. Pappan was named to the First Team, while Francis was named Honorable Mention. 

Pappan is fresh off the most dominant season of her career. The junior who was named to the All-SCIAC First Team, and won the Chapman Athletics Women's Sports Junior Student Athlete of the Year award. Pappan's dominance in the conference truly speaks for itself. She was second in the SCIAC in total goals with 68 (trailing the leaders by just one goal), ranked top 10 in total assists and third in total points with 94. She also ranked second in the conference at 2.7 goals per game and 3.8 points per game. This is Pappan's second straight time being named to the All-American team. 

Francis is fresh off leading the SCIAC in total saves in 2026. The senior was named to the All-SCIAC Second Team for the second straight season, and led the conference in total saves with 240. She also led the SCIAC in save percentage at .547 percent and saves per game at 10.9. Francis was also a finalist for the Women's Sports Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year at the Student Athlete Awards. Francis will graduate this coming week from Chapman with a degree in Finance and Accounting. This is also her second straight year being named an All-American.
