ORANGE, Calif. — Junior attacker Zoey Francis and senior goalkeeper Zoey Francis are leading the charge as the Chapman University women's water polo program gears up to compete against Pomona-Pitzer in the SCIAC Tournament semi-finals. This year will mark the second straight season the Panthers appear in the semi-finals.

In the first round game, Francis set a conference record for most saves in a single tournament game with 19. Pappan added another team high four goals on just five shots. Freshman Mia Harrison also set a tournament record for the fastest opening goal in history, netting a shot just 14 seconds into the game. Harrison went on to score a new career-high three goals.

The Panthers come into the game as the four seed, and Pomona-Pitzer is the one seed. In their lone game during the regular season, Francis had nine saves and Pappan had one goal, one assist and three earned exclusions. The game is set to begin at 7 PM at Pomona-Pitzer.
