Zoey Francis from the Chapman University water polo team have been named to the 2026 All-SCIAC team after historic runs during the regular season. Pappan was named to the First Team, while Francis was named to the Second Team.
Pappan had yet another historic season, earning a spot on the All-SCIAC Team for the third straight season while also making her first appearance on the first team. Francis was named to the second team for the second season in a row. Pappan averaged 2.8 goals per game in 2026, good for second in the SCIAC. She also put up 3.9 points per game, good for first in the conference. She also tied for first in the conference in scoring with 64 goals, and tied for first for total points with 89. She also had a career high eight goals against La Verne on March 4.
Francis, who was a transfer student athlete in her second year in the conference, dominated in every capacity in her senior season. She led the conference in saves with 211 and save percentage at .511. She also had a season-high 19 saves against Whittier on April 14. Francis was an ACWPC All-American in 2025 and tied her season-high in saves on Tuesday in the first round of the SCIAC Tournament.
Pappan and Francis were also named SCIAC Athlete of the Week multiple times, and have led the program to their second straight SCIAC Tournament semi-finals appearance on Thursday evening.
