ORANGE, Calif.— Madi Escobar from women's lacrosse and Kendall Pappan from women's water polo have been named the Offensive SCIAC Athletes of the Week. 

Escobar led the Panthers to a 15-7 win over Occidental College and scored a hat trick in the fourth quarter to help Chapman pull away. She had four goals total within that one game. the sophomore also led Chapman to a win over Cal Lutheran 21-8 on the road putting away another three goals to go along with two assists. 

Pappan led water polo to three wins on the day weekend, including two dubs during the 2016 Claremont Convergence. Pappan had five goals in a big 11-10 win over Division I Santa Clara. She also had a career-high eight goals in a blow out conference win over La Verne. To round out the weekend, Pappan scored three goals to go along with three assists against Mount St. Mary's. To further seal the dominance over those three games, she had 11 earned exclusions.
