ORANGE, Calif. — Chapman women's water polo fell 9-6 at home Wednesday evening against Cal Lutheran.
The Panthers held strong heading into the fourth quarter, trailing by just two goals 6-4, but ended up falling behind in the fourth quarter. All-American Goalkeeper
Zoey Francis had five saves to go along with a steal. Six different players from Chapman netted the six goals.
Kate Launius and
Annika Liou also had three earned ejections each.
The Panthers now sit at 6-8 overall, 3-1 in the SCIAC. They will look to bounce back as they head on the road to play at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Saturday, Mar. 14 at 11 AM.
