ORANGE, Calif. — Three athletes from women's basketball along with swim & dive have been named SCIAC Athlete of the week including: Layla Woods, Aidan Trautwein and Cora Buelow. 

Buelow was named the swimmer of the week on the women's side representing the high tops. Trautwein was named the diver of the week on the men's side representing the low tops. Woods was the women's basketball offensive player of the week. 

Buelow won all three of her events against La Verne on Saturday in the 500 yard freestyle, the 200 yard medley relay and the 400 yard freestyle relay. Buelow won the 500 free by 13 seconds. 

Trautwein won the one meter with 305.55 points and came in second on the three meter with 264.75 points. On three meter, Trautwein only trailed teammate Reid Omilian. 

Woods helped women's basketball to a 3-1 week overall, averaging 16 points and nine rebounds. Woods helped Chapman defeat Cal Lutheran 54-53 and Crown College 71-47 at home. On the road, Woods led her team to a 70-69 buzzer beating win over Howard Payne. Along the way, Wood shot a blistering 50 percent from the field and recorded back-to-back double doubles against Cal Lutheran and Crown.
