ORANGE, Calif.— Chapman women's soccer defender Casey Gilligan has been named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team. Gilligan is a senior who was also named to the All-SCIAC First Team and led Chapman to their third consecutive conference tournament appearance. 

The team captain anchored a defense that which helped her two goalkeepers: Bella Barretto and Siena Gomez combine for 85 total saves on the season. Gilligan was a four year member of the program who appeared in all 19 games as a starter in 2025. Gilligan also appeared in 65 total games and started in 47 throughout her career. She earned SCIAC Athlete of the Week and was the anchor who locked down the back line.
