VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Chapman opens play on Friday in Virginia Beach, Va. against Batten University and Sunday against Christopher Newport in Newport News.

The Panthers return forwards Sidney Karjian and Alexis Sweeney along with middle fielder Athena Tsakiris and defender Kate Stenta. Second year head coach TJ Perez led Chapman to the 2025 SCIAC Tournament.
 
Seniors Karjian and Tsakiris return after being named to the 2025 All-SCIAC Second Team. Stenta returns as team captain for her senior campaign.  The Panthers will also work to replace fellow All-SCIAC Team member Jenna Urabazzo and Casey Gilligan, who graduated in May 2026.

Newcomers include freshmen Malia Kakes, Quinn Busby, Grace Katzer, Cianno Biondo, Kam Okinaka, Hanley Larabee and Avery Robinson. They also welcome in sophomore transfer Claudia Rose who played for one season at Loyola Marymount University (LMU). 
 

Chapman will open up SCIAC play on Saturday, Sept. 12 at Whittier College. They will host their home opener against Caltech on Wednesday, Sept 16 on Wilson Field. The Panthers will play 14 total SCIAC games, and wrap up their regular season on Oct. 28 against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at home. The SCIAC Tournament is slated to kick off the following week.
