PASADENA, Calif. – The Chapman University women's soccer team rebounded with a 4-0 win over Caltech. Four different players scored in a balanced and dominant effort.
The Panthers allowed just one shot from the Beavers as they picked up a much-needed three points to stay in fourth in the SCIAC standings.
Sidney Karjian's first goal of the season put the Panthers on the board less than four minutes into the match. She touched a cross around the goalkeeper for the early lead. Grace Vasquez added to the lead 30 minutes later with a shot from distance that sailed just under the crossbar.
Delaney Kitchens padded the lead in the 73rd minute and Annabelle York buried a free kick from just outside the box for the fourth goal.
The Panthers return home on Wednesday as they look to avenge last week's loss at Redlands.
