Gilligan headlines four women's soccer players on All-SCIAC Team

ORANGE, Calif. — Casey Gilligan headlines Chapman women's soccer as she was named to the 2025 All-SCIAC First Team. Sidney Kargian, Jenna Urrabazo and Athena Tsakiris round out the group as member of the All-SCIAC Second Team.

Gilligan is a senior defender out of Saratoga, Calif. who locked down the back line for the Panthers and led them to the SCIAC Tournament for the third consecutive season. The senior was also a team captain, the sweeper in the back and helped set the tone for goalkeepers Bella Barretto and Siernna Gomez to record a combined 85 saves on the season. 

Karjian is a junior forward out of Seattle who four goals and had nine total points on the season. She netted the game winning goal against Occidental College on Oct. 8 and the game tying goal in the final regular season game against La Verne on Nov. 1. Karjian was also a member of the SCIAC All-Academic team in 2024.

Urrabazo is a senior forward out of Gilroy, Calif. who is making the All-SCIAC Team for third consecutive season. The senior netted four goals, had nine total points and served as team captain. She has been named to the All-Region team twice and has played in all 19 games in 2025. 

Tsakiris is a junior midfielder out of Saratoga as well, who was all over the field netting two goals on just six shots on goal. The junior controlled the field organizing some of the biggest plays of the season which helped propel the Panthers back into the postseason.
