ORANGE, Calif. — Chapman cross country competed Saturday afternoon at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite, where the men's and women's sides built momentum. The men's side finished in the top 10 as a team, while the women's team finished in the top 12. 
On the women's side in the 6k, 
Brenda Daza finished in seventh with a time of 21:58. Daza has now finished the 6k in under 22 minutes three different times for the 2025 season. The women's side competed just five runners for the day. 
Natalie Brazfield came in behind Daza, placing just outside the top 75 going 23:47 in the 6k. 
On the men's side, 
Gavin White finished the 8k in the top 35 with a time of 26:04. 
Alejandro Aguirre Ramirez and 
Lorenzo Collier also finished within the top 90. 
The cross country program will look to continue building momentum as they prepare for the Highlander Classic up at UC Riverside.
