GREENSBORO, N.C. – Both Kiana Tanizaki-Hudson and
Reid Omilian concluded their time at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships with All-American honors. Tanizaki-Hudson became just the second All-American swimmer in program history.
Omilian took 12th on the 1-meter board to earn his second All-American Second Team honor at the national meet. With his last dive in the preliminary rounds, Omilian was able to sneak back into the top-16 to qualify for the consolation final at 16th. He turned it in the consolation final and jumped up to 12th as he finished with a score of 450.25 – his third career All-America finish.
Tanizaki-Hudson also made the consolation final in the 200 fly to earn All-America Second Team honors. The junior swam a 2:04.24 in her morning preliminary heat to finish in 14th and qualify for the consolation final. In the evenings finals heat, she held on to 14th with a 2:04.64.
Tanizaki-Hudson joins Kati Wise as the only All-Americans in Chapman's swimming history while Omilian is the only All-American diver but earned his third career All-America recognition.
The Panthers wrapped up another record-setting season with the All-American night with both Tanizaki-Hudson and Omilian slated to return in 2024-25.
