INDIANAPOLIS – Reid Omilian ended his storied career with his fourth All-American finish at the NCAA Championships. Omilian made the consolation final on the 1-meter board to earn All-America Second Team honors.
Omilian finished the 1-meter competition with a 448.75 to take 16th place in his final competition. The senior notched yet another All-American award, making him the most decorated student-athlete in Chapman swimming & diving history.
The swimming & diving season comes to an end with Omilian's final dive. Omilian represented the Panthers team that finished the season ranked No. 25 in the coaches' men's swimming & diving poll.
3-meter competition from Wednesday, March 18
Reid Omilian opened up his final NCAA Championship appearance on the 3-meter diving board on Wednesday. Omilian placed 23rd and will compete on the 1-meter board on Friday.
The senior posted a score of 406.40 in his final 3-meter competition to take 23rd in the national championship meet. The national championship appearance is the third of Omilian's stellar career.
He will dive for the final time on Friday in the 1-meter board competition in search of his fourth career All-American finish.
