ORANGE, Calif.— Chapman Men's Swim & Dive now ranks No. 25 nationally in the College Swimming Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) for the first time in program history.
This ranking comes on the heels of the low tops finishing in third place at SCIAC Championships with 609 total points. The men's side finished behind only fellow nationally ranked programs: Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Pomona-Pitzer.
Senior diver
Reid Omilian highlights the team's overall success, as he gears up to compete in his third NCAA Division III Championships set for March 18 and 20. Other standouts in diving included
Aidan Trautwein who is just a freshman and fellow senior
Jake Randazzo. All three divers qualified for Regionals. On the swimming side, standout low tops include freshman sprinter
Cooper Na along with juniors
Trent Calloway Max Polovinkin and
James Galligan. All four athletes competed in individual finals at SCIACs and podiumed at least once in relay finals.
