LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Mason Fara set a school record as the Panthers competed at the Oxy Distance Carnival and Spring Break Classic. Fara's record-breaking performance came in the 400m dash.
Fara ran a 47.76 at the early spring season meet, which is the fastest time in Division III this season in addition to being a school record. Fara also place sixth in the 100m dash with a 10.98.
Brenda Daza led the women's team with a second place finish in the 10k. Daza ran a 38:10.28 to take second in a field of 14 runners. Makenna Lizarde placed fifth overall in the women's 100m dash with a season-best time of 12.45.
The Panthers are off this weekend but return for a busy weekend of three meets Mar. 22-23.
