Swim & Dive rolls past College of Idaho

ORANGE, Calif. — Swimming & Diving picked up another dual victory, a 212-20 win for the high tops and a 191-52 win for the low tops.

Chapman saw many of its swimmers mix it up and try different strokes in today's victories. Here are some of the top performances from the afternoon.

High Tops

  • Emily Kinney picked up wins in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. She finished with times of 1:13.04 and 2:34.69 respectively.

  • Kiana Tanizaki-Hudson continued her dominance, this time crushing the 200 IM field by nearly 10 seconds (2:10.92) and winning the 100 back with a time just north of one minute. She was a part of the 200 medley and 200 free relay victories.

  • Avery Hall won the 100 free (54.61) and anchored the 200 medley relay team to a victory.

  • McKenzie Abbot won both the one and three-meter dives.

Low Tops

  • James Galligan won both the 100 and 200 free. He posted times of 48.45 and 1:46.81.

  • Truman Inglis won the 50 free, 200 IM, and was the anchor to the victorious 200 medley relay team.

  • Riley Coleman edged out a victory in the 100 back by .5 seconds. He also swam the backstroke for the winning 200-medley relay squad.

  • Reid Omilian won both the one and three-meter dives.

The Panthers are back in action next Saturday in Thousand Oaks. They'll take on Cal Lutheran in the final dual meet before the SCIAC Championships with dive starting at 10:30 a.m. and swim at 11:30 a.m.
