Box Score ORANGE, Calif. — Women's soccer played to a convincing 3-0 victory over Whittier on Saturday, Oct. 7 at Wilson Field.
Jenna Urrabazo got the scoring started for the Panthers on a free kick in the 19th minute that soared right over the keeper's head into the back of the net.
Shortly after, Pilar Vanheusden added to the Panthers' lead. Sidney Karjian dribbled around a defender and found the right foot of Vanheusden to extend the score to 2-0.
Chapman tacked on one more score in the second half, when Karjian knocked in her first career goal with a shot from 25 yards out.
The Panthers earned three points with the victory, and improved to 3-3-4 overall and 2-3-2 in conference play. Whittier fell to 3-4-3 and 2-3-3 in SCIAC play.
