Chapman (13-4-2, 10-4-2 SCIAC) at La Verne (14-4-1, 11-4-1 SCIAC)

• La Verne (14-4-1 overall, 11-4-1 SCIAC) is the No. 2 seed and will host the No.3 seed Panthers (13-4-2 overall, 10-4-2 SCIAC) in the semifinals of the SCIAC tournament on Thursday, Nov. 3.

• The Leopards defense dominated the league allowing less than one goal per game (0.93). Sophomore GK Josh Ramirez has recorded 55 saves this season.

• The Panthers have a wealth of players attacking at the front with goals coming from 14 different players, including five players with at least five goals apiece. For the third season in a row, senior Marco Saglimbeni leads the Chapman offense with 8 goals.

• Senior Saul Uribe leads the Leopards and is tied for second in the SCIAC with 12 total goals this season. La Verne's offense has also benefited from a SCIAC leading nine assist effort from junior Auden Foxe.

• This is the Panthers fourth consecutive SCIAC Tournament appearance and La Verne's second. La Verne defeated Chapman 1-0 at Wilson Field to advance to the SCIAC Championship in the 2015 season.

• The Leopards are 6-3-1 at home this season while the Panthers are 5-2-1 on the road. Chapman has won four of its last five road games, including Coach Eddie Carrillo's 200th career win, which was a 3-0 road win against Claremont-M-S.

• The Panthers are peaking at the right time, having won six of their last seven games. The Panthers were picked to finish second in a preseason poll of the conference coaches at the beginning of the year. La Verne was predicted to finish fifth behind Occidental.

• Chapman is 14-4 against La Verne over program history. However, the Leopards have won three of the past five matches against Chapman over the past two seasons.
