Box Score ORANGE, Calif. —  Chapman men's soccer defeated Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 2-1 at home on senior day, clinching a spot in the SCIAC Tournament this coming week.
Senior
Dylan Paine earned a penalty kick and capitalized on the opportunity by firing the ball into the back of the net 75 minutes into the game. Paine's goal gave Chapman their 2-1 lead, one they would never relinquish.
Early in the first half, CMS midfielder Penn Kaplan netted the first goal of the game. Shortly after, Panther sophomore
Evan Crownfield positioned himself in the box, found an opening, and took a shot to tie up the score 1–1.

The Panthers will land in either fourth or fifth place in the conference with an overall record of 6-6-4 and 5-4-3 in the SCIAC.
