ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University softball team had 12 student-athletes recognized for outstanding work in the classroom by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. The NFCA annually recognize high academic achievers as NFCA/Easton Scholar-Athletes.
Softball student-athletes with a minimum 3.5 GPA are submitted by their head coaches for the academic honor. In total, over 8000 student-athletes from all levels of college softball earned the academic honors with nearly 2500 coming from the NCAA Division III.
