ORANGE, Calif.— The Chapman University women's golf team finished in fifth at the Regals Invite. Nika Gholami, Lauren Lee, Elle Gianelli and Ella Michitsch led the charge for the Panthers. 

Gholami finished just inside the top 15 at 18-over pare for the tournament. In the second round, she finished three-over par to move up 16 spots on the leaderboard. Lauren Lee was another top-20 finisher for the Panthers after a solid first round of 76 (+4), which led the Panthers. She finished to tournament 20-over in 19th overall.

Gianelli finished in 23rd at 22-over and Michitsch finished in 24th at 23-over.  

The Panthers with next travel to the UCSC Invite March 28-29 at Pacific Grove Golf Course in Monterey, Calif.
