Women's golf finishes SCIAC Tournament in seventh place

ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University women's golf team came in seventh place at the SCIAC Golf Championships at Costa Mesa Country Club. Nika Gholami led the Panthers at 20-over par in 24th place. 

Gholami finished 10 over par on day three shooting an 81. Lillie Dayton was 17 over par on day three shooting an 89. She finished just outside the top 30. Ella Michitsch, Payton Anderson and Kylie Nguyen immediately followed Dayton finishing 32nd, 33rd and 34th. 

Pomona-Pitzer won the tournament on the women's side shooting three over par as a team.
