ORANGE, Calif.— Volleyball's Ava Bradbury is the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week. The sophomore middle blocker led Chapman to a 2-1 record, clinching wins against conference foe Occidental College and Whitworth College. 

Bradbury had 8.5 points against Whitworth, three blocks and nine block assists for the weekend. 

Bradbury and her team returns to action on Friday, Sept. 12 at the Cal Lu Fornia Invitational at Cal Lutheran.
