ORANGE, Calif. – Former Chapman University pitcher Max Banks was selected in the 14th round of the 2025 MLB Draft by the Chicago White Sox.
Banks pitched his first three seasons at Chapman before completing his NCAA eligibility at the University of Washington. As a freshman, Banks pitched the Panthers into a Super Regional appearance with six scoreless innings in the Regional Final. He went 5-2 as a freshman with a 3.21 ERA and was 7-3 as a sophomore with a 3.43 ERA.
