ORANGE, Calif. – Henry Chabot represented the Chapman University baseball team with an All-SCIAC First Team selection. Chabot earned his first career All-SCIAC award.
In his first season as a starting pitcher, Chabot was dominant. He ranked third in Division III with 105 strikeouts. In conference play, he led the SCIAC with 65 strikeouts and ranked second with 54.2 innings pitched. He posted a 5-3 record with a 2.98 ERA, tossing a pair of three-hit shutouts.
Three of his six double digit strikeout games came against SCIAC opponents, striking out a career-high 14 batters in his win over CMS. He allowed two earned runs or less in six of his eight starts in the SCIAC season.
Chabot was previously named the Region X Rookie of the Year by D3baaseball.com in 2023 after a dominant season as the Panthers' closer and adds on an All-SCIAC First Team award in his first season as a starter.
The Panthers finished the season in sixth place in the SCIAC standings.
