CLAREMONT, Calif. – Annika Carlson earned First Team All-American while Mason Fara also raced his way to All-American honors on day two of the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships. Carlson became Chapman's first-ever First Team female All-American in track & field.

Carlson ran in the 3000m steeplechase final and finished in eighth place with a 10:36.71. She made her second trip to nationals to compete in the steeplechase, bettering her 14th place finish from a year ago. Her eighth place finish is the best finish at a national event in Chapman women's track & field history. She earned her third career All-American award after earning All-American Second Team honors in cross country in 2023 and Second Team honors in the steeplechase a year ago.

Fara earned his first career All-American honor in his third national championship meet. He placed 11th in the 400 meter with a 48.34. Fara finished third in his heat and missed a spot in the finals by just half of a second. He is the first member of the Chapman men's track & field to earn All-American honors in a track event in the Division III era. He joins Jesse McMillan (pole vault) as the only Division III All-American in men's track & field history at Chapman.

McMillan will wrap up the season for the Panthers in the pole vault tomorrow with the competition beginning at 9 a.m. McMillan was the national runner up at the indoor championships in March and will close out his career with a fourth consecutive trip to nationals.
