ORANGE, Calif. – Caleb Wilkins is set for his third appearance at the NCAA Division III Singles Championship on Friday. The NCAA released the draw for the 32-player national championship in Claremont, Calif. this weekend.
Wilkins will take on Javier Gonzalez from Tufts at 9 a.m. tomorrow in the Round of 32. The winner advances to the Round of 16 to be played Friday at 1 p.m. The winner of the University of Chicago's Emil Grantcharoz and Sewanee's Jordan Theron will be matched up with the Wilkins/Gonzalez winner in the Round of 16.
Wilkins heads into the tournament ranked 22nd in Division III. He posted a 13-6 overall record in 2025 as the Panthers' No. 1 player. Gonzalez is ranked 17th and played mostly in the No. 2 spot in Tufts' lineup. He went 17-4 this season.
The tournament continues with the quarterfinals on Saturday, the semifinals on Sunday and the championship on Monday.
