5/25/2024 12:39:00 PM

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The NCAA released the 2024 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Singles National Championship bracket on Saturday, May 25.

Caleb Wilkins earned the sixth seed in the tournament, facing Andreas Sillaste from Amherst College in the first round.

Wilkins makes his second-straight trip to the national tournament, earning Second Team All-American honors in 2023 after a victory in the first round of the 32-player bracket.

The Matchup

No. 11 Caleb Wilkins – 19-5 record

No. 17 Andreas Sillaste – 14-8 record

Sillaste and Amherst compete in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC). Sillaste faced No. 1 ranked Tristan Bradley twice in his freshman campaign, dropping the first in straight sets, but the duo failed to finish their final match. It finished midway through the third set, with Sillaste leading 4-3.

Wilkins has two top-five wins in 2024, defeating No.3 Matt Kandel and No. 5 Julian Wu, both will compete in the tournament.

The match begins May 26 at 8 a.m. PDT at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis, Mo. Should Wilkins move on, he would take on the winner of Eli Mizerski (George Fox University) and Emil Grantcharov (University of Chicago) at 12 p.m. PDT.
