ORANGE, Calif. — Cruz Billings was named SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week on Monday, Dec. 11.

Billings averaged 2.5 steals per game across the Panthers' two countable contests against Stanton and West Coast Baptist. In Saturday's contest against West Coast Baptist, he tallied a career-high and game-high four steals. The Panthers scored 23 points off turnovers in the 111-66 win.

Billings and the Panthers have finals week off and return to play Dec. 19 against Puget Sound in Santa Cruz, Calif. Chapman plays two games up north, taking on Nebraska Wesleyan the following day.
