VENTURA, Calif. – The Chapman University men's golf team finished the CLU Kingsmen Invite in eighth place after two rounds. Kendrick Tan led Chapman with a top-20 finish.

Tan once again led the Panthers through both rounds of the tournament. He was four-over par on day one and moved up two spots in the second round after a pair of birdies in the front nine helped him finish three-over par. He finished in 15th on the leaderboard with a 151 (+7).

Nicholas Trani had a solid opening round as he nearly kept pace with Tan. Trani was five-over on day but dropped to 35th on the leaderboard after finishing day two eight-over par. Conner Conley rebounded from a 10-over in the opening round to finish with a five-over 77 on day two. He was 38-over for the tournament to finish in 38th.

As a team, the Panthers held their position in eighth. They were three strokes better on day two and finished 51-over.

The Panthers next head to SCIAC #2 at Tukwet Golf Course on April 3-4.
