ORANGE, Calif.— Chapman Men's Tennis clinched their second consecutive victory to open up the 2026 season against Arizona Christian University 4-3 Friday afternoon.
In doubles,
Lachlan Dickinson and
James Krantz clinched their match 6-3, but the Panthers dropped the point to firebirds.
In singles, the Panthers came roaring back.
James Krantz won 6-4 and 6-2.
Matthew Dewey won in three sets 6-3 on the second set and 6-1 tiebreaker.
Ian Jordan won 6-3 and 6-4. Rounding out the match and clinching victory,
Seif El Salawy won 6-2 and 6-3.
The Panthers will look to carry the momentum into their next match as they host Lewis & Clark on Friday, Feb. 13 at the Anderson Tennis Center.
