Alyssa Fricker on senior day.
Fricker led the way with another dominant performance of nine goals, tied for second most in a game in program history. She also had one assist and three steals. Fellow senior attacker Eaves also contributed three goals and four assists. Chin also contributed five assists and a goal to go along with two steals.
In total, the Panthers had seven players score including
Annie Nadolski and
Kendall Pappan with two each, along with
Demi Ovalle,
Meg Peters and Chin with one each. Chapman also made 57 percent of their shots while holding Caltech to making just 23 percent of their shots.
Defensively, McGuire dominated with eight blocks and two steals playing most of her senior day game. The eight blocks is a new career-high.
Zoey Francis also contributed another seven blocks for the game.
The Panthers finished up the regular season and SCIAC play ranked third in the conference. They will play in SCIAC Tournament semi-finals in the coming week, with an automatic bye through the first round. Chapman finished out the regular season 11-12 overall, 8-4 in SCIAC play behind Pomona-Pitzer and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
