ORANGE, Calif.—
Davin Castillo from Chapman men's water polo has been named to the 2025 All-SCIAC Second Team.
Castillo is making his second consecutive appearance on the All-SCIAC Team after carrying the men's water polo program through a competitive 2025 season. The schedule involved playing the top Division III teams in the nation ranging from conference opponents such as Pomona-Pitzer and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, to top tier Division I programs such as Long Beach State.
Castillo comes away from the 2025 season having averaged roughly 3.5 goals per game over the 27 game season. He also ranked first in the conference in total steals with 60 on the season. He also averaged just over 1.8 assists per game along with 96 points through the 27 total games. He ranked top 10 in the conference in total assists, sixth in total points and first in steals per game.
His success is coming on the heals of being named an ACWPC All-American in 2024.
