ORANGE, Calif. — Men's golf played in three tournaments this past fall including: the CA State Intercollegiate, the Chapman Quad and the Danish Classic. Along the way, the teams showed flashes of what to expect during the spring season.
CA State Intercollegiate
Chapman competed at their first tournament Sept. 14-16 where they finished in fourth going -10 as a team.
Ben Soicher led the way for the Panthers finishing tied for ninth going four under for the tournament. Teammates
Nicholas Trani,
Kendrick Tan and
Conner Conley all finished 18th and 19th going under two and one. The Panthers finished ahead of Redlands, Lewis & Clark, Occidental and La Verne.
Chapman Quad:
At the Chapman Quad on Sept. 20, the Panthers finished third going 11 under, finishing ahead of La Verne. In the competition, Tan, Lipfield and Soicher finished back-to-back-to-back in fourth, fifth and sixth. Tan went under four, while Lipfield and Soicher finished tied for under three.
Danish Classic:
Chapman traveled to The Master's University to play in the TMU Danish Classic Oct. 5-7. The Panthers finished in second out of eight teams going one over. They finished behind only Vanguard. Tan and Conley finished tied for fourth at one over. Trani and Soicher finished in ninth and 11th respectively at two over and three over.
Chapman will resume play in Spring 2026, carrying over momentum built throughout the fall.
