Chapman University

Bob Monk joins the Chapman football coaching staff for the 2016 season. Monk joins the Panthers with decades of coaching and teaching experience at the college and high school level.

Most recently, Monk coached the linebackers and was the Special Teams Coordinator at Chaffey College. He joined the Chaffey staff in 2012 after leading the Ramona High School football team as its head coach from 2007-11. He has also coached at Canyon High School and West Hills High School.

Monk played football collegiately at Sacramento City College for two years before finishing his college career at the University of Idaho. He stayed in Idaho to coach at Payette High School, Kellogg High School and Moscow High School before moving to California.

Monk resides in Riverside, Calif. with his wife Buddy.
