CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Chapman University women's lacrosse team fell 17-3 at Pomona-Pitzer in the SCIAC Semifinal. The Panthers season comes to a close with a 9-7 overall record.
Hailey Buck, Tade Scheid and Anna Barton scored for the Panthers. Buck put the Panthers on the board with two seconds left in the first half. Top-ranked Pomona-Pitzer had built a 7-0 lead before Buck's goal at the end of the half.
Zoey Stephens caused a pair of turnovers and picked up two ground balls. Camila Gabrian made 10 saves for her fourth double digit save total of the season.
The Panthers season comes to a close but the team returned to the SCIAC Tournament with a fourth place finish in the standings.
