ORANGE, Calif — Chapman women's water polo opened up the 2026 season at home Saturday afternoon with a dominant win over Austin College 20-11.
After traveling out east two weeks ago, Chapman came out seeking revenge, and that became evident early.
Annika Liou and
Kimie Ginoza had career games and combined for seven of the team's 20 goals. Liou knocked in four goals on just five shots, while Ginoza had three goals on just four shots.
Mia Harrison added three earned ejections, a goal and a steal.
Junior transfer
Lyric Roddenberry made her presence felt in her home debut netting one goal, securing two steals, two goals and one assist in her home debut.
Caylie Saiki and
Annie Nadolski added another two goals.
The Panthers will look to keep the momentum going, as they head on the road to play at Loyola Marymont University (LMU) to face off against the host team and Cal State Fullerton on Saturday, Feb. 14. Chapman currently sits at 1-2 overall and has not started conference play.
