ORANGE, Calif. — Chapman men's basketball held on strong in the second half to beat Cal Lutheran at home 67-55. Chapman jumped out early to hold at least a five point lead they would never relinquish. Senior point guard

Jake Heberle did as he always does, knocking down 19 points on 7/17 from the field along with four rebounds.
The Panthers came out in the second half to get down to business shooting a blistering 59.09 percent from the field along with 55.55 percent from behind-the-arc. The Panthers also caused 14 turnovers, had nine steals and 14 points off turnovers. Out of the strong defensive effort, Cal Lutheran shot just 28 percent from the three-point line and remained stagnant offensively all evening.
Senior forward
TJ Tittelfitz came in off the bench and knocked down back-to-back three-pointers along with knocking down two clutch free throws in the second half. He was the offensive punch the team needed to take back control late and seal up the game.
Chapman will look to continue building momentum as they head on the road to Occidental on Wednesday, Jan. 21.
