ORANGE, Calif. — Men's soccer kicks off SCIAC play against Caltech Wednesday, Sept. 17. Sophomore
Evan White dominated preseason play scoring four goals, already surpassing his total from last season. Sophomore
Reed Leidlein is also starting the season strong with a total of two goals. Other players to watch are
Diego Perez,
Leo Wells and
Oliver Adams all with one goal a piece.
Women's soccer is also set to start SCIAC play Saturday Sept. 20 on the road at La Verne. Six different players scored a total of eight goals during preseason play. Sophomore
Nikki Zokaei managed to put away three of those goals. In addition,
Jenna Urrabazo,
Athena Tsakiris,
Jana Komposch,
Alexis Sweeney, and
Delaney Kitchens all scored one goal each.
Men's Water Polo picked up their first win Saturday against Division II Biola University.
Nathan Jones scored a sudden death goal in overtime, bringing home the win. Chapman will try and maintain momentum at the Brown University Tournament on Sept. 19-21.
Football is on the road to take on Linfield on Sept. 20. This game is a long awaited rematch. These teams last faced during the 2019 NCAA Tournament. Chapman won 68-65 in triple overtime.
