ORANGE, Calif. – Redlands pulled away late in the fourth as the Chapman University women's lacrosse team fell 17-10 on Monday. The Panthers fell to 4-7 overall and 2-4 in SCIAC.
Tade Scheid tied the match at 7-7 early in the third quarter but the Bulldogs regained the lead 45 seconds later and ended the match on a 10-3 run to capture the win.
Annika Carlson, Lyndsey Huss and Ada Carr each scored twice and assisted on another to lead the Panthers offensively. Madelyn Kuhnlein made her return in goal, making nine saves.
The Panthers head to Occidental on Wednesday for a crucial SCIAC matchup at 7 p.m. before returning to Wilson Field on Saturday night to face CMS.
