ORANGE, Calif. – Five Panthers were recognized on the D3football.com All-Region 6 Team – three on the offensive end and two on defense. Tate Zimmerman and Jacob Gaudi earned the honor on defense with Fischer Huss, Gavin Scott and Jackson Muzzy were honored on offense.
The Panthers won their fifth SCIAC championship in 2025 and advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Division III Tournament for the second time in program history. An undefeated SCIAC season and First Round win equated to a nine-game winning streak.
Tate Zimmerman led the Panthers' charge defensively as a SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Year. The top SCIAC honor led to All-Region Second Team honors – the first All-Region award of his career. He was the only Panther to earn Second Team honors after ranking 11th in Division III for tackles for loss per game.
Gaudi earned Third Team honors for the second year in a row after another solid season at safety. He was a First Team All-SCIAC selection and went on to make the game-winning play in the First Round at Whitworth – a game he started with an interception as well.
Scott was another second time selection on the Third Team. The Panthers' primary left guard also filled in at center when needed and was one of four lineman to earn All-SCIAC recognition. Scott also served as a Team Captain and led an offensive line group that cleared the way for the SCIAC's top rushing offense.
Scott and Gaudi were joined on the Third Team by Huss and Muzzy. Huss was a First Team All-SCIAC selection, who led the Panthers in rushing yards this year. Muzzy was a First Team All-SCIAC selection at tight end, catching three touchdown passes.
The five All-Region selections are the second-most in program history after Chapman finished at 9-3 overall.
